Privacy Policy

The app stores your spool inventory, usage history, low-stock rules, order list and settings on your device. We never receive this information.

Android's own device backup may include this app data in your Google account backup, under your Google account's backup settings. Printer details (see below) are excluded from that backup.

If you sign in with Google in Settings, the app uses two Google Drive permissions:

• App data folder (drive.appdata): stores your backup in a private Drive folder that only this app can read. It doesn't appear in your Drive file list.
• Files the app creates or you open with it (drive.file): used when you export your inventory, history or order list as CSV files to your Drive, or import a history CSV. The app can't see any other files in your Drive.

These files go directly between your device and Google. We never receive them. Google handles them under the Google Privacy Policy. The app shows the email address of the Google account you're signed in with, but it doesn't send that address anywhere.

The camera is used only when you scan a spool label or barcode. The images are processed on your device by Google ML Kit and aren't saved or uploaded. ML Kit may contact Google to download updates and may send Google anonymous metrics about how the scanning feature performs. These metrics don't include the images or the text that was read. See Google's ML Kit terms.

If you add a 3D printer, the app talks to it directly over your local network. It finds printers by listening for announcements on your Wi-Fi. The printer's name, model, serial number, IP address and access code are stored only on your device, and the access code is encrypted. This information isn't sent to us or included in any backup.

If you turn on the Bambu Lab store integration, the app opens the Bambu Lab online store inside the app. Your store login and cookies stay in the app on your device and are sent only to Bambu Lab, as they would be in a browser. When you send your order list to the store cart, the selected items go to Bambu Lab. Bambu Lab's own privacy policy applies to anything you do on their store. This is an unofficial integration. We aren't affiliated with Bambu Lab.

About once a week, the app checks a public file on Google Firebase Hosting for new filament colors, and it downloads the update only if you agree. Like any internet request, this sends your IP address to Google. No account, device or inventory information is sent, and we don't use these server logs.

Low-stock and order reminders are created on your device. No push notification service is involved.

• No analytics, advertising or crash-reporting tools are built into the app.
• We don't sell or share your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
• We don't require an account with us.

layerline.app doesn't use cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. Cloudflare hosts it. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.

• On your device: use Empty All Inventory in the app, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
• Drive backup: in Google Drive on the web, open Settings → Manage apps, find Filament Inventory, and choose Delete hidden app data. CSV exports are ordinary files in your Drive that you can delete.
• To revoke Drive access, sign out in the app or remove the app at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

The app isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
