Terms of Use

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own use, including in your own business. You may not copy, modify, resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it regardless of this restriction. The app is licensed, not sold, and we keep all rights not expressly granted here. Open-source components in the app are licensed under their own terms, listed in the app under Settings → General → About → Licenses.

Google Play processes purchases. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. If you have a problem with the app, email us first, and we'll try to make it right.

Fill levels, low-stock alerts, reminders, usage figures, forecasts and order lists are estimates based on what you enter and what your printer reports. Filament colors, names and product codes come from public sources and are approximate. They may be wrong or out of date. Check before you rely on them, especially before you start a long print or place an order. We aren't responsible for failed prints, running out of filament, or buying too much or too little.

Your inventory is stored on your device. You're responsible for backing it up, whether with the optional Google Drive backup, a CSV export or Android's device backup. We can't recover data that is lost from your device or your Google account. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

• Store integration (off by default): this is an unofficial feature. It opens the Bambu Lab online store in the app and can add items to your cart there. Bambu Lab has not made, endorsed or approved it. The store can change or block it at any time, and it may stop working without notice. Your store account, orders, payments and deliveries are between you and the store. You're responsible for following the store's own terms. Before you pay, check your cart, including items, quantities and prices.
• Printer connection: the app connects to printers on your local network only to read their status. It doesn't start, stop or change prints. Printer manufacturers can change their software in ways that stop this feature working. Keep your printer's access code private.
• Google services: Google provides the backup, export and sign-in features under its own terms.

We may change or remove optional features if a third party changes its service or objects to the feature.

Filament Inventory is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to any filament manufacturer. Brand and product names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify filament.

We may update the app and its filament data from time to time. Some features may change or be removed. We don't promise to support every device or Android version forever.

To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that its data is accurate.

To the extent the law allows, Layerline Apps isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. That includes lost data, lost profits, wasted materials, failed prints and damage to equipment. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. If you seriously break these terms, your license ends. Sections 3, 4, 8, 9 and 11 continue to apply after that.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This doesn't take away any protections you have under the laws of the country where you live.

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll also mention it in the app or in the release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
